In the battle of fast-food giants, Burger King and McDonald’s have their own fan bases, but neither dominates the other in Florida. Among 34,938 respondents, 30% expressed a liking for Burger King, while 40% remained indifferent. Meanwhile, McDonald’s saw a slightly higher favorability, with 31% of 43,891 respondents expressing a liking and 34% having no strong opinion. Interestingly, 19% of respondents did not like McDonald’s, compared to 22% for Burger King.
Where do Burger King super fans reside in Florida? Fifty-one percent live in the suburbs with 28% in the cities. McDonald’s sees a similar pattern, with 52% of its fans residing in the suburbs and 27% in cities.
What about the French fries?
McDonald’s takes the crown in Florida for the best French fries. A whopping 41% of respondents favored McDonald’s fries, leaving Wendy’s and Chick-fil-A trailing behind with 12% and 13%, respectively. This survey highlights the crispy allure of McDonald’s fries, especially among suburban dwellers, who make up 66% of the fry-loving respondents. Wendy’s fries also find favor in the suburbs, with 50% of their fans residing there. Burger King’s fries, however, have a more balanced distribution, with 61% of their fans in the suburbs and 14% in cities.
Ultimately, the data reveals a clear suburban preference for McDonald’s fries, while Burger King and McDonald’s dining experiences enjoy a more evenly distributed fan base across urban and suburban areas.
