Gen Z loves its Halloween: CivicScience data show 21% of U.S. adults under the age of 30 say that Halloween is their favorite major holiday, compared to just 12% of adults aged 30 and over who say the same.1 Young people are particularly excited about Halloween in 2024 as well, and more Americans say they’ll celebrate the holiday overall this year too, up two points year-over-year to 67%.2
