Threads and Bluesky are two emerging social media platforms reshaping the Twitter/X model. Threads, developed by Meta, fosters topic-focused communities within its Instagram-connected ecosystem, while Bluesky’s decentralized approach gives users greater control over their data. Both platforms saw an increase in users flocking from Twitter/X in the aftermath of the recent election, as people looked for new platforms to engage with others.
